Am I a COIN DOCTOR ? Poll

I took a handful of empty 1956-1958 Treasury Mint Set holders and filled them up with white coins,

then took them down to my vacation home in Florida and stashed them in the attic.

    Reusing double mint set holders will result in some toning but nothing like the coins originally housed in them. If you ask me they are all out of juice so to speak. I like buying brand new wayte Raymond boards and filling those babies up! In the right conditions they can make some pure monsters (not like I've done this image).

    Why make the differentiation? To quote RickO, GC50 "intend[s] for them to tarnish rapidly" which is the acceleration of a natural chemical process. Dipping is the removal of tarnish, a mechanical and arguably unnatural process. If anything, dipping should be doctoring and putting coins in sulfurous holders should be resourceful.     1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
