Sub-100 Population Coins...Post them

I've always been attracted to the absolute rarity of coins with populations under 100 (I'm using Coinfacts estimates as a measure) in all grades. Here are mine, post yours...

1987....Treaty of Rome...PCGS PR69DCAM (none higher) .. total population: 9
Condition rarity not absolute rarity.
Correct?
<< <i>I'm guessing you're talking about sub-100 population in a specific grade, not total in all grades.
Condition rarity not absolute rarity.

I'm talking about the total population in all grades. Each coin has less than 100 estimated in existence regardless of grade.

<< <i>Neat Coin Weiss >>
x2 ... Beautiful rendition on the obverse.

<< <i>Would one not have to research the three major TPG's to get closer to a total population? Even then, how accurate could you be when including those collectors who don't slab? >>
As I said in my OP I'm using the Coinfacts estimated populations for both grading services.

I have a few that meets the criterion. Here's my best. Estimated surviving population for the 1866 $2.50 in all grades is 40 (per Coinfacts). 1866 is tied for 5th among Lib $2.50's for rarity.

Pop 1... The only example ever graded at NGC in well over a decade of grading HTT's.

Pop 12 in all grades at PCGS. Having bought and sold a lot of these (singles and sets), I think most of the formerly NGC-slabbed coins have been crossed to PCGS holders by now.

Great Thread!
I too am fascinated with the ultra rare coins.
I mean the truly rare ones....not condition rare, not even TPG graded rare....I mean the ones reported to only have a few surviving examples in existence!!!
.........NE Shilling rare.........1794 Star Reversed Cent rare......1796 Jefferson Head Large Cent rare.....1794 Dollar rare........
......I collect old stuff......

doesn't mean that half of them aren't dupes.
Other seated business strikes with <100 (varieties not included as that's too easy)
1878-s half
1870-cc, 1871-cc, 1872-s quarters? (those would be close)
No brainers:
1873-cc NA quarter
1873-cc NA dime
1853-0 NA half
1870-s half dime
and others I can't currently recall.

$5 1808/7 Breen-6455, B-2A. Rarity-5 Obverse Struck Thru Mint Error ex Harry W. Bass Jr. collection, formally Quality Sales Corporation’s auction of the estate of John A. Beck, Part I, January 1975, Beck began collecting in the late 1860's. It's the only John Reich error known for this series, as it has a large planchet strike through imperfection which covers star 4 on the obverse. The obverse also has a diagonal bisecting die crack from the border at 1:00 through the cap and head of Miss Liberty to star 2. Another die crack from the border through star 11 almost reaches the hair.
