Well, hopefully the board can find it within them to leave the man alone and allow him to be the member of the community he's been for awhile now. I wish articles like this were being published in mainstream media, it would be good for the hobby.

I have followed his posts and his pickups and happy to have him here. I'll have his RC on my wantlist since he was an Alabama state wrestling champion. I have been a high school and club wrestling coach and I have a small collection of old football cards often with a cartoon on back talking about their wrestling careers.

PS. I do remember another board member telling me that an Eagle was a board member, but he would not say who it was. I think respecting Evan's privacy was a nice thing to do.

It was pretty much a huge snub for him to not have been originally selected, but at least they got it right.

I obviously was a fan when knowing he was part of our crew, and that he was a high school wrestler too.

Congrats Evan, and love your sense of humor about it.

Evan is Giant class act. He's donated two years now signed footballs for donation to breast cancer. The last one had a 1,000 donated. Just an incredible guy. I talk and message him often. Very proud of him and glad he's finally getting his due.
