nothin will help that piece. as anyone that has a metal detector will tell you, that was a ground find, and if you remove the rest of the corrosion, it will have gaping craters. it would look much worse than it does now. the easy to remove corrsion has already been removed. too bad it wasnt found in a sandy area

One of the holy grails in the metal detecting community. Obvious a metal detector find. Terrible condition, but to recover a 135 year old coin, lost in circulation, that ain't seen the light of day for over a century...priceless....Two different worlds collided. Don't knock it.. The guy/gal found lost money and is getting paid for it. Nothing wrong with that.
