35. I like the look, streaks and all...tough to call on would it slab, the condition of the surfaces in hand should answer that for you, hairlines or dull, wiped looking areas in the fields might be a problem...
EF40 -environmental damage. I thnk those black streaks are some kind of corrosion and cannot be removed. I could be wrong-maybe its crayon. But I have seen too much of this. JMHO
I'll go 30-35. Not crazy about the blackish streaks on the obverse, but it's acceptable and otherwise a nice looking circ. The few scattered tickmarks in the field around the eagle's head don't bother me much.
XF40 - There's enough detail on the head for that and the reverse is nicely detailed as well. The black streaks don't bother me at all and lend to the originality if you ask me, but then, you didn't ask me LOL....

High VF, should slab, decent eye appeal (the streaks hold it back a bit).

We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
<< <i>A few to many dings in the coin, and I did notice the edge bump. VF-30 , on a good day VF-35. >>
A very strong 30 but just not quite good enough to warrant an EF grade, IMHO. There are also some distractions, as noted.
Still, a nice coin.

A) Better, but then I have a slight preference for gray over brown in the abstract.

We cannot answer either of those questions because we have not seen the coin in hand.
Hoard the keys.
