What did this coin sell for last time? Was it $1.9 million? After taking eBay fees out, it doesn't seem like such a big win. I think it is more publicity and marketing for the seller than anything else. If I am not mistaken, this seller posts a lot on eBay but at another time you will see the items posted cheaper on their website so they mark the items up to cover their fees on eBay which makes sense but it also tells me that I should focus on buying from this seller via phone or their website, not eBay.

I wondering what David Lawence was going to ask for that after I got the email that he had acquired the piece.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
Ha! Indeed it is. If you buy it, I'll even hand-deliver it with a steak dinner!

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
Dimeman said he didn't want it... So, all Dimeman has to do is have it gift wrapped and sent to me. Fear not, DLRC, there are lots of good steak houses in Naples.

All mints ( save for Philadelphia ) were considered Branch Mints. San Francisco did not issue Proof coins, only Philadelphia did. The 24 - 1894-S Dimes were all issued in Proof Format, hence the Branch Mint Proof status.
