They wheir going to send them in for melt so i bought them it is a half a roll of mixed dateds of Seated Quarters, I was looking at them and found some cool ones if you like them like this. I dont think they look to bad What do you think?

Don't think they will grade but nice hole fillers in a album. Those CC's are not easy to find for many budget collectors.

Good save...CC's are always in demand and if you are doing a series, they will certainly fill a hole. Cheers, RickO

This reminds me of something that happened nearly 50 years ago. Dad came to me one day, and said, "one of my students brought this to class and asked me to give it to you." My father taught junior high and some of his students were curious about his family. Somehow the subject got to what his kids collected, and Dad mentioned that I collected coins.

One of his students gave Dad an 1831 Dime in AG. I asked Dad to sincerely thank the kid for his / her thoughtfulness. I still have the coin.

I'm curious with regards to why they would not grade. The gouges on the 1877 could be a problem, but the bar for grading is much lower when the grade is much lower though I don't have a lot of experience and would like to know your thoughts.

I love coins like these. Too much detail for P01. They are F02 & AG03's IMHO

Nice historical collector grade coins that certainly don't deserve the melting pot. Not everything in life should have its value measured in dollars and cents. These are the kinds of coins that a lot of collectors enjoy and are extremely collectible. Nice save indeed!
