1850 Half Eagle Set (P, C, D)

With the help of a forum member I have wrapped up my 1850 half eagle mini-set. Philly, Charlotte and Dahlonega. Both the C&D have very strong mintmarks for a date known for weak, sometimes non-existent mintmarks.
The 1850-P is a scare coin and is very overlooked. The Charlotte is super crusty and has great eye appeal while the Dahlonega piece has amazing color which the photos don;t capture well. Tilt the coin and blue hues emerge around the periphery of the eagle. The 50-D was my first gold coin which I bought after a visit to Dahlonega and it got me hooked.
