    Are you sure there is oil and it's not just the two sides stuck together? Did you actually feel oil? I've had thousands of these and never had that problem.

    They are stuck together and it's a rainbow color I just wanted to know if would damage the card. Or of they all came like that.

    Another reason I use penny sleeves first.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    I've always changed the oil inside my CS1 holders at 7,500 miles and never had a problem. image

    I know what you're talking about - I've noticed it, as well. I'm not sure what it is exactly, but I would assume its used to reduce friction inside the card saver. I've never had an issue with it affecting a card surface, though.

    Couldn't find specifically what kind of plastic Cardsavers are made of, but most plastic polymers like this are petroleum based plastic polymers, so its is entirely possible for small levels to leach out.
