New Website.

I've launched coinswithhistory.com It's currently a work in progress. I was surprised the domain name was for sale.

Besides showing off my current and upcoming collections, I'm going to have some coins for sale from time to time, news on certain coins, and since I metal detect, a blog on what I find. However warmer weather won't be here for a few more months.

you might consider a link to it with a signature line that will appear in all of your posts. This can be done via the profile button.

Check it out. Got the title and logo done. Tell me if you like the title color, or think it should be a different one.

I would get the site up and running, then announce here and look for feedback. People will interest quick with step by step updates on progress. Most people will only visit once or so, you can decide when the time is most beneficial for you when that happens.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    So far so good.

But I think it's a good idea to finish the website completely and then announce it to us.

What is the point of this post? Your title is "New Website." Yet, your link doesn't work and you have a tiny screen shot with no info. In my opinion, this just a waste of forum space. This feels like something more appropriate for your Facebook page. AND yes, I will move along now........

I just have to ask. Is there a problem with the logo for his site or a bit of jealousy?

    Where do they say that?

Not that I'm saying you're wrong and I'm right.

I'd just like to know because I can't find it myself.

You are in the wrong here. The PCGS stance as communicated by Don Willis is that-

<< <i>TrueView photos are a service PCGS offers for the coin's owner only, and consists only of PCGS taking the photo and then giving the owner a license to use that image for his or her own purposes, with no right to transfer or sub-license the image to anyone else.

If you have paid for a TrueView you can use it for your own purposes as you see fit. >>

Tom, just keep an eye out - with wonderous photographs like you have on your site - you could be his next "image donor"!

I wonder what the fine folks at Coinfacts.com thought of his appropriating their imageimage

    Well....darn.

I updated the site with an image of my own coin. I'm going to contact PCGS and ask permission to use their image in the mean time.
