Problem is, people have difficulty having to say the same thing over and over again OR getting flamed w/o burning out OR getting bammed.

I have been here 11 years and am almost to 3,000...lol, but I remember when some people used a computer program to boost there posting number. Besides, how many single word comments make the totals go up?
It would be interesting to know who has initiated the most threads here. Not that means anything, but the thought just occurred to me and is intriguing.
Retired United States Mint guy, now working on an Everyman Type Set.
It may very well come from the sport card side. That forum has not been around as long, but there are a lot of posters over there. They might catch up. I could have included this statement in the previous post, but I decided to do it seperate, so I could score 2 posts, instead of one.......watch out, I only need about 98,000 more.
I think it would be really cool if someone with 99,999 posts enters his post with something clever to say - for example, "100,000!" - and then sees that the forum odometer only has five digits, and his post count shows at zero or one.

I just don't see it happening but clw54 has the best chance if he wanted to become really active around here for the next 5-7 years...every day, day after day. It will be very very tough! I would not mind getting to 10,000 one day.

At the rate Matrix1986 was posting, they could have accomplished that task in about 1 year. I don't even know if they are still around though...just to make this US Coin related I got a dirty 1963 dime in change today. WooHoo SILVER!

just to put it into perspective even just a little
20 posts for the next 365 days is only 7,300 posts LOL
so 20 posts for the next 10 years won't cut it

So true. I seem to remember some users getting in 20 posts in a matter of minutes as they debated the hot topic of the day.

If you remove the "departed" ones....coinhead1 & kieferscoins. I'm sure I may have missed one or two, clw54 would be the odds on favorite.
