click http and paste the link there with text.

Just tried can't get it to work if you can could you please post the pics from the Ebay item # I sent you? Thanks.
i'd really rather you be able to post your links, it is extremely easy
just click the http thing and type abc for the link and abc for the text, that way you can at least see what happens and if you are gonna be here posting links it is better your learn how now
.
you are close. just don't use the https link as most times it won't work properly, but you are close
.
Thanks means a lot I was hoping I did well I was nervous about a mid grade like this one in G-06 and not G-04 or VG-08 but looked around and to me this one has a very nice strike and nice look so decided to go with it. I decided that I am going to collect Barber quarters and stick with it that is why I made my move on a more expensive coin...I just put 2 coins up for sale on Ebay that will help me cover this purchase at least have way that is.
<< <i>Thanks I was trying really hard but not hard enough I guess damn computer skills!!! >>
Adding a link is not hard at all. Simply copy the address of the auction and then hit the http button and paste the link in it. Then push the OK button. Then put whatever word or phrase where it says "text" and that will be the link. Press the OK button again and you are set. You can either type in a description before or after the link.

Thanks I think I get it will test it out another day!! That is what working in Human Resources will do to a man after 6 years you become useless in any other science branches (ex: computers...I only do the same functions all day long so not learning new ones kinda shows)!!! But by luck my brother is a computer science major so he helps out a lot...maybe a little to much...lolll I should try to learn on my own but if I mess up my computer he will be even more mad having to fix it so there lies my rot of incompetence.

Does this hurt it's value? Or is it still a good purchase?

<< <i>Does that include buyers premiums? >>
Yes it does. I think a nice, original example (CAC worthy) would be worth $950-1050. The ones bringing $800-850 are the lower end of the grade, which is what I would classify yours as.

Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
I am thanks!!
The cleaning certainly doesn't help its value, whether in a PCGS slab or not.

It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got.

On another note I do not like the the coin graded VG-08 above the whole coin just simply turns me off!!
Ebay item #'s 350619246611 and 180864230988.
I guess another day.
I suggest you keep your acquisitions private if you are uncomfortable with people's opinions. For every 1 compliment you will get 5 insults. We are collectors, typically type A personalities... So if you like the coin, and are comfortable with the price.... Just put it in the safety deposit box and march on! You paid a little more than trends for this piece... That's ok if you like the coin, if not I suggest you reading a lot more before spending big money!
Cheers,
Daniel
I respect your wise advise!! What do you mean by type a personality?
That makes a lot of sens now!!!

Still gradable and still presentable- just doesn't get to sit at the grown-ups table.

based on what I have read up to 80% of coins graded by NGC and PCGS have been somewhat cleaned...I thin this is normal because this coins are so old that could have happened any time from their creation till now.
I agree that is why I post here. I am not worried about this coin because a key date will appreciate and there is always a buyer for such coins I could have done better but anyone buying a coin could have done better IF ONLY they had found that PERFECT coin right off the bat. I live in Canada my options of finding that PERFECT coin are much more limited than for you guys living in the U.S. I will bring my coins to a major show (Orlando) in the U.S probably in 2013 or 2014 and simply trade them for ones I can find on the floor that I like more I will pay the difference!! With 1500 dealers on the floor I am quite sure I will find a better one and a dealer willing to trade up and take the cash difference.
And, when I say, 'cleaned', it is market acceptable-gently cleaned, no hairlines- just a glossy fade to the worn surfaces (to most- certainly not all) and gradable with PCGS/NGC.

The 80% figure came from various websites. So you do not like my coin at all? It is the details that drew me to purchase it I have yet to see another one in G-06 with that much meat on the bone (solid details...the coin in person will probably not look as much cleaned than on the picture with a camera)!! Could the coin have been left original of course would it be graded higher probably yes for sure...could I have purchased at this time at say double price no I like 99% of you guys have bills to pay and a limited coin budget.
I meant that if I lived in say New York or some other huge town I could go out all day and walk into coin shops and compare coins better than I ever could on the internet. Yes you can do this over the internet but 1st class service is just not there. Of course I can spend a full day or 2 on the net finding one but then again 90% of dealers DO NOT ship to Canada (I have spoken to about 20 of them and I would say about 18 do not). So this leaves me with fewer options and then add the fact that I must find dealer I trust and that offers me the chance to upgrade my coin down the road at full value of my coin versus theirs and a cash difference. My other option is to ask my main dealer in Canada who goes to 2 major auctions a year to find the coins I want that suit my needs...but he will want probably a 10% commission on each and every coin I buy. So I will simply trade them in with say David Lawrence and upgrade them over time or with the company called U.S coins or some other contact I have that is trust worthy.
