Looks to be low UNC/high AU depending on how it looks in hand and it is downright ugly IMO. The black on the obverse may be original but it is negative.

I like it. Good strike for a 1921 Peace. Don't know if it's worth the value, but NCS could remove that black stuff.

That "black, spotty tarnish" look is not my thing. The strike might be little better than average, but the eye appeal is not there for me.

I think the coin has great eye appeal, it has some character...I'm not a fan of untoned coins that look the same from one to the next. To each there own...it looks like this coin has a 50/50 like/dislike audience. My vote is
