Guess the Regrade results of my colorful 1799 $....Grade Revealed

Some of you may remember that I posted images of this coin a while back looking for opinions because I felt it was undergraded. The opinions in that post varied greatly. Well, the coin did upgrade. Without searching for my old post in order to find out what the coin was previously graded at, lets see if anyone can guess the new grade.
Alright, here is my Previous Post. As you can see, opinions varied quite a bit back then, same as they did this time. Obviously there is something about the coin that is resulting in it being net graded. I would assume it is the toning. If not for the questionable toning, if that is the case, what would the coin grade? Imo, AU58. This coin has considerable better detail remaining than many AU58 coins currently in holders. In searching auction records, I've come across 61 and 62 coins that lack the details that this coin has.
I also found the Auction Archive from when the coin sold back in 2008.

<< <i>I'll call it a 55 since it upgraded although I'm not a fan of that color being natural. >>
As far I know, AU58 bust dollars don't look like AU58 bust halves. The luster requirement is just not as great.
Even the 61-62 coins don't have a lot of luster.....very few of those are truly unc.
<< <i>Used to be AU55........now AU58. Very little rub and a very sharp strike.

Did you go SP or stay in the regular holder? I trust you did not crack it out yourself?

What makes you want to call it a specimen strike? Just curious

Guess #1: Upgrade to AU55
Guess #2: SP = Secure Plus

Ah okay, I think the latter makes most sense.
Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

with all of the animals i've seen with plastics, fishing line and numerous other items lodged into or around them somehow, we should nickname this variety
"fishing line eagle" for animal protection awareness. looks like this poor guy swooped down and got a fish that was already spoken for by a fisherman and now
has a very nice sharp hook permanently fixed into his esophagus. too bad little guy, gag all you want it aint comin out!

That is a gorgeous coin!
I have a question about Secure Plus since someone brought that up.
Would Secure Plus have any affect on the coin being net graded if submitted through that service. If correct, I understand the coin goes through a sniffer.
If the sniffer didn't pick up any evidence of chemicals, is the toning determined to be natural?
Thanks

1) light cleaning
2) coin was wiped
3) coin has questionable color
4) coin was bleached
5) dipped and stripped - this is why so many of them appear to be devoid of luster
Based on the image, this one imo has questionable color. If it was a Seated $, I see it in a 'Genuine' holder. Sorry, I don't like it, and would not buy it.

Does artificial toning smell different than "real" toning?
By approving a grade PCGS has said it is not artificial toning. In theory, anyway. But, as elcontador says, PCGS is pretty forgiving with these early coins.
Yes, it has been net-graded because of its appearance. It's not a look I appreciate but it is still a very nice dollar.

if you haven't seen the video it is worth a watch. sniffer vid
there are others, but this is the best imo
