...assuming it got the bump for color.
Really it's a low end 66 without even the bump. Obverse marking is the big problem and a little strike weakness
on the reverse is secondary. It appears to be a mint set coin and is not easily improvable. It's in about the top 99.5 %ile.
It was PCI MS66 (I think?). I'm hoping it is still PCGS MS66.
Regards, Larry
....JMO..........67 all the way...............unless that little obv dark zit at 9:00 bothered them.....then a 66........pretty coin Stef.........

<< <i>I don't even want to try and guess the grade on this one, my question is, how does a 1981 clad composition coin from Denver acquire this type of toning? >>
Anyone?

Sunnywood did a thread on it a while back that was very informative.
type2,CCHunter.
this one's pastels are in moose range...to me any ol hoot
one of those "i'm too sexy for most graders" coins...envy?
maybe a lil share the wealth type of thing
could be they want to see it a few times before it get's squirreled away...not many get to hold such a beauty in the raw...lucky graders
many a coin goes from genuine to grade
that is one of the prettiest kennedy's i've seen in pastel style of toning
