Local coin shop owner armed robbery !

Here in Fayetteville, NC , the other shop across town, the owner was robbed at gunpoint this am. I just talked to him and he informed me that he was approached from the back as he left the store to go to the bank I believe. He was pushed down and gun placed at the back of his head. Luckily his grandson (older) was outside the store and went to jump the attacker, and was shot at, but missed. The guy is in custody thankfully, Thats all I know at this time. Will update as I find out more.

Glad no one was physically injured and the jerk was caught. Hope he gets the maximum. One can't be too prepared.

Most people think folks that are "too" or "overly" prepared are nuts.......until something like this happens.

I think a coin dealer tried that and is now in jail for killing the bad guy who pointed a gun at him.

If a shot was fired in this incident that's attempted murder, don't you figure? During the course of a felony robbery. The guy should go away for a long time.
