Small You Suck Award Finally for mkman?

mkman123mkman123 Posts: 6,849 ✭✭✭✭
Picked this up last week at a local jewelry store that buys gold and silver coins from the public. Had no idea it even had a low mintage until I googled the date!!!! I picked it out of the silver bin for melt as it was a nice looking standing liberty quarter, who wouldn't take a nice standing liberty quarter for melt! Anyone want to give me a grade and possible value??? Thank you!

Really cannot hazard an opinion based on those pictures. Need better pictures of both sides... Cheers, RickO

eagle detail will determine the grade but from the looks of it it can be anywhere from 40$ to 150$ worth of coin. Not as rare as the mintage would make you think. It is more of a condition rarity in XF and above

Nice find! Too many rivets missing in the shield for a F12, but still a nice VG10.

Nice find "depending" upon what the reverse looks like.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

When ol' curly was a pup, we got those in change. We would ask a girl if she could find the walking cowboy's chaps on the coin.

This is truth...condition #1 to receiving a "You Suck" award is that one can not solicit said award, or he is immediately disqualified from receiving that award.

Just wanted you to know for when that real "You Suck" opportunity comes along!

    That being said...nice pickup.

Sorry NO "You Suck" award for that one!!!!

Aye. Nice pickup, but you can never Suck™ for this one, because of the solicitation of a You Suck™ in the thread title.

And any coin at melt that is a "real" coin, is a good score. Many nice little "suckers" can be found in bargain bins, and folks that just don't know coins.
    Keep looking.... it pays!!
