Details look VF to me. I've seen plenty of lighter examples straight grade, but in my opinion (regardless of what the holder says), the color is too light and I think the coin has been cleaned.
Very tough call. Barbers are not my strength. I suppose VF20 if adequate consideration is factored for the date and possibly F15 for the those that point to a picture thinking that grading is a one size fits all proposition. Looks to be a coin Barber collectors would like to own.
There will likely be much more to the story... Looking forward to reading the results and commentary

My first impression was VF20 and I voted for that. After a second look, I am convinced that is too generous, so I believe our hosts graded this piece as F15.
25 not cleaned.
I’m actually tempted to say 30 due to soft strike, although 05o’s are not as terrible as some of the earlier ones from NO mint. (There is a nice amount of wing detail, a good bit band still showing under liberty. Lots of wear tho.)
We're all born MS70. I'm about a Fine 15 right now.
VF details, cleaned (although I am 'split' between F details and VF details). It would not surprise me if this straight graded as it has the look of a 'C' coin. The halos around the star, letters, and other devices are indicative of an 'old' clean.

I've been digging around in my files. If there are no major objections I'm going to post pictures of about 1/2 the coins I've sold as well as coins I own. Unfortunately all my 12-25 collection I don't have pictures of and are in the bank.

Typically not a well struck issue. Our hosts are many times generous with 05-Os. I say 25
I will post my opinion and the grade Friday night.

F15 to me.
To me it looks cleaned, although I have seen coins like this in straight-graded holders- if that then F15.

F details cleaned. The reverse kills the VF IMO.
Fine, not strong enough for a VF

I would say VF20.... Cheers, RickO
Cleaned Fine 15.
Kind regards,

F 15 max, cleaned or dipped a long time ago
no, not for me. i try to stay away from the cleaned stuff.
I'll bet it is straight graded VF-20 or 25. I voted VF-20.
I went with VF-25 has more meat then a 20.
Hoard the keys.
VG/F cleaned ?
