Is this a PL Morgan?

I found this awhile back and I thought I'd post it out of curiosity. I thought it looked like a circulated PL Morgan? I am not sure as I have never owned a PL before. Any thoughts on this piece? The surface is quite reflective as shown...

No, not PL. I venture it's been messed with and was AU that someone tried to enhance.

Does not look PL to me either.
PL? Nope
Improperly cleaned? Yes

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
Not a PL Morgan... it does look as if it has had some cleaning.... Cheers, RickO
Yep.
I see the scratches at 5 o'clock on the obverse, but what other indicators are you folks seeing that lead you to think there was improper cleaning or that it was 'messed with'. Not criticizing, just trying to learn.
Nope. Scrubbed and cleaned. Slight collector value unless it's an unusual die variety. (Check Vamworld.com for 1880-S dollar varieties.)
Halos around the stars was all I needed to seel.

No. While a decent number of 1880-S silver dollars are P-L, not all of them are. This one has frost, not mirrors, around the devices and has probably been brightened up a little with some silver polish.
it looks like it may have been cleaned. you see scratches going across the bottom of the hair and the stars have a rounded off shape to them. I have to be honest when I say it looks like a fake. Look at the letter coming off the front side

Between hair and stars behind the date. Harsh cleaning.
no pl. but it looks nice from here.
I agree, no PL. I also agree might have an old cleaning. Here's a basic PL designation. You can see the difference in the fields.
