Is $3 each decent for buying 1932-1964 circulated Washington Quarters?

I was at a NY coin shop and bought 15 quarters + tax came to $48.60.
Today, Coinflation says melt is $44.79.
I picked about 5 AU/BU from the 60's and the rest were circulated 30's and early 40's with mint marks. I only had $50 on me.
They had an ammo container with a few hundred.
I had a great time quickly looking through them but unless I was to get lucky with a variety or great date/mm, it's just bullion I suppose.
I was wondering if I should go back and grab a large batch at that price?
I never venture over here but probably should pay attention a little more.
Edit: for clarity.

as long as the are au or bu I would. the circulated silver quarter rolls on e bay are going for about 120 dollars per roll, and you can get bonus e bucks on them too on certain days, 10X e bucks-12 e bucks
$3.00 ea. = $12xFV = $120/roll.......I think you did well for a small purchase.
Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb
Bad transactions with : nobody to date
You did good!
You did OK... and maybe you will find a variety in there as well.... Silver is on a dip right now... so good time to grab some... Cheers, RickO
My closest LCS is selling these at 14x face, so you beat that.
$3 each is fair. Get all you want and roll them up. Avoid slicks and very well worn coins. Not many keys in the Washington series, but if you find a 32 d or s grab it. There are some double dies, but the dealer probably will not be patient enough to allow you to search for them.
good deal and if you can keep stacking at that price, do it!
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
I went back and picked out a rolls worth.
I did go for the AU/BU for the most part
I pulled a Proof or two as well so I allowed a couple of older dates just for fun.
Still $3 each.

Good deal considering it included tax
Just over melt.
Buying More is up to you. This close to melt is a stack-no-stack decision
12x is a good rate. Get BU ones at 12x and you got yourself something you might want to keep for while (that's what I try to hang on to)
12X face isn't bad !!!
Any mm on that 32?
junk for less is better
No mm.
Of course.

You did good considering you can get au/bu specimens.
