I'll take a guess...AU-50, 53 Max.
EF....not better -- certainly not AU!
Yep.
I knew someone would say XF-45! Glad to get it over with.
I will not drop a coin into the XF grade if all the detail on the top of the leaves under the Eagle is complete and still frosty. AU. I don't believe we could buy this coin at an XF price either.
You and I are not dealers. Let's see what the Big Guys say.
I am not a Big Guy dealer (but I am a big guy so maybe that counts a little).
But as a collector I'd be willing to pay more like XF than AU money for that particular piece based on its eye appeal.

The image is terrible. Describe the amount of luster you see on the reverse (less important side). It goes from the rim to the breast...Almost all. The obverse shows a little less. I'll say most. In the 70's this was an XF. IMO, it is an AU today (50 or 53) but we do not know from the image about the originality of the surfaces. Anyway, I'm waiting for a major dealer to put a retail price on this coin so we can see how it relates to the XF or AU grades.
Looks like an AU53 to me, maybe even AU55. Could be AU50 but pictures at an angle make things very difficult. I think it may end up in Details holder because the scratches to the right of the eagle look a bit too severe to straight grade.
I'd call it an AU-50+, an AU-53 I could see, but I would probably pass on. Images taken straight on that show the luster and wear patterns better, could persuade my guess.
Not an xf, not an unc. Not a 58
The rest is all debatable
Nice AU50, congrats.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
from that picture XF45
Looks au50.
Based on what I see I don't think it will grade.

I'm in the low AU group. A lot depends on remaining mint bloom.

Looks very grainy. AU 50 at best.
50
I'd say AU-50. Having taken a lot of pictures, I know you lined it up to get as much mint luster as possible. These coins are common in EF and AU, scarce in true Mint State. Sorry, this one misses the mark without a doubt.
AU-50

It's an XF by the book, but a PCGS/NGC AU

Looks around XF40 to me.
Not at all a Morgan expert. With that said I could see this one in a 53/55 Holder. Of course this is just my own opinion.
I have an uncirculated one in my collection. I’ve never sent it in. I see no reason.
XF 45

XF45 based on that picture... Good, straight on shots might give it a 50..... Cheers, RickO
It may go AU. WD-40 or XF-40

Agreed!
Well, just Love coins, period.
Awesome Used
It's a nice attractive coin and right in the middle of AU-50.
Some collectors won't pay AU-50 money because it's dark and poorly contrasted and some will a little premium because there's still a little luster on the high points.
45
Looks AU53 to me.

If I'm selling, that coin is barely VF. If someone is selling it to me, it would be an AU+++++ slider.

low AU something.
AU-53. Obverse is AU-50 but reverse is AU-55.
