For your viewing pleasure: 1984 1C DDO
Apologies for clogging the top with updated pics and such, my latest batch of Trueviews just posted.
This has an accompanying old anacs MS65 photo cert, they were quite conservative back then. I'll have to double check the date when I get home but I think it was Dec. 1984.

Real nice double ear...I like it.
That bubbled plating look is pretty amazing.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
I haven't looked it up, but that looks like today's 66+/shot7
They didn't used to accept much plating bubbling.
Today it's not frowned upon (usually).
Nice coin.
Nice! That's one of those Class IV doubled dies that are doubled at the center of the coin. It's one of the best of that type.
You are correct, 67RD

Very nice !!!
Normal bubbling, but this is one of the most attractive 84DDO's I've seen
Double ear lookers, go to school on this one.

Interesting cent... the bubbling gives it a strange visual effect.....Cheers, RickO
Agreed.
At some point the persistent (and defiant) newbies should be advised to just send it to PCGS, and then when it gets rejected as an error they can come here to find out why.
Bumping this to get some more variety at the top today.
