I agree... I use coin facts a lot. But this is a super weird post. Were you asking for other opinions? I just use either TPGs auction history tools or heritage.

Recent auction history is a good choice.
Do you want to find better coin prices or more accurate coin prices?
.....or coin facts for the best place as well as the best price?
Can't someone ask a simple question I feel like some hate me now and that is just fine.
what I can say is this I a honest and a slave to no one (no kool aid here)
I think I need to take a break form the of the sheep
I meant no offense. I was just responding to your "question" that was actually a statement. I did not know the intent of your post because of the unusual structure of it.

I apologize for the way I asked the question (no punt intended)
I think coinfacts has some of the best resources for recent auctions. If your an eBay guy just go through the sold listings. Helps me out a lot and I can sometimes find if the coin I am bidding on has sold previously and for what price.
That escalated quickly. And confusingly.
I think the confusion is the op starts his post as a question, then answers
It himself, thus leaving everyone else to questions what to respond to. And his response is more convoluted than the original post. No disrespect, just trying to decipher.

Pat, take this unsolicited opinion(from someone who knows you and likes you) with a grain of salt:
--- your GreySheet thread was a little confusing and hard to follow, you seemed to have made up your mind about some non-facts and bad information before anyone even responded. then you slipped into a stubborn, defensive posture.
in this thread you seem paranoid and on defense again. the title and body of the OP seem a bit contradictory and you seem overly sensitive to criticism. you should know from being here the nature of how things work, but you appear to have let the "pricing" thing get under your skin. threads tend to take on their own life.
For what little it is worth, I thought the title was going to lead me to a discount venue to buy coins at discount prices.
But the thread went a different way - I still learned something.

I think every pricing resource has pluses and minuses.
I don't think any of them are perfect for really scarce items. An eBay comp for something mispriced on a BIN that's snapped up in 6 minutes at 3:00 am counts just as much as something that sold on the 3rd relisting. I once bought a scarce Barber half at auction and had 3 offers for a $1k bump the next day from people who had missed the auction. Which was the real price? The $2k auction price or the $3k I got for it 24 hours later.
Coinfacts typically have only a fraction of the auctions listed for HA auctions. So after checking there, I always to to HA archives as well to get a more complete assessment of value. HA typically has half or more of the auctions for any given coin as their throughput is megalarge compared to anyone else. Even the combination of CF and HA is not enough for coins with limited auction histories.

Bad transactions with : nobody to date
if a coin is ultra PQ for the grade and series and is also a scarce issue, then the market decides the price not some book. Guides are nice but they are and always will be just reference points.
