Picked it up at Santa Clara last friday. It apparently had been owned previously by Seattle dealer Gene Henry. In hand the coins are stunning, much better than they appear in my cell phone photos.

Very nice looking set! Is the half cameo?

That is a GORGEOUS HALF!
Each of the 5 coins in the set are gorgeous and have fantastic eye appeal.
The cent is brown on the obverse (with the toning on the devices looking different from the fields and giving it a contrasting appearance) and is yelow on the reverse.
The nickel is light blue on the obverse and reverse, plus the devices have frost which contrasts with the mirrored fields. It may not warrant a Cameo designation from a TPG but it has a Cameo appearance.
The dime has multi colored rainbow toning on both sides. The fields and devices on both sides are brilliant, with a deep watery mirror overlaying the toning.
The quarter has light multi colored rim toning on both sides and a very pleasant appearance.
The half dollar is stunning. The devices on both sides are frosted (except the sun is not). The fields are mirrored. The toning on both sides is multi colored with colors changing in progression. A portion of the central devices on both sides of the half dollar are framed by the toning.
Interesting... It looks like an 'assembled' set, rather than the original mint set - how is it tied to the Seattle dealer? Cheers, RickO
A beautiful set

1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
Nice set - hard to find these days.
Most sets I see are put together, the nice coins cherry picked for grading.
I'd guess the really nice original sets were put away a long time ago.

Gorgeous.
The dealer I purchased the set from told me that he purchased the 1941 set (and other proof sets, including a 1940 and a 1942 6 coin set that he had in his dealer case) from a dealer in Washington that was selling Gene Henry's collection.
I searched the net for Gene Henry and found articles describing him and his career as a coin dealer going back to when he was in high school in the 1950's.
It would not surprise me to learn the Mr. Henry acquired this 1941 proof set in 50+ years ago.
They sure are beauties Kevin! They all look liquid. You have a great eye
Kevin that is a killer set.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Nice....what do you grade them?

TPRC.
I have no clue on grading, but all of the coins would, IMO, grade at least 65, maybe higher.
Looking at the coins without a loupe there are no blemishes (hairlines, marks, spotting). The toning on all of the coins is multi colored and adds positive eye appeal.
Thanks for the kind comments folks.
I gave a like when you first posted this set and have been back several times to take another look.
I also, would love to see these in person.
So nice.
