Welcome to the forum. Most likely a grease filled die is what caused it. Pics would help make a better determination. Grease filled die errors are not rare, but they are usually interesting to look at.

Im really new at this what should i do now
Get images... it most likely is a grease filled die or strike related weakness.
Dollars to donuts you have a strike issue and not a rarity.
Buy the cherry pickers guide and it will show you the top errors and varieties.
Then do some research and learn your stuff.
Humm you signed up 20 days before posting and did not read any other posts on this subject?
You might try somerhing called a search function something foreign to the multiple question gang on minute errors.
Need pictures preferably upside down overexposed and out of focus.
How did you find this site?
Spend it. Or keep it if you like it. But most likely not worth anything.
First of all, ignore the cranky people. A grease-filled die is exactly what it sounds like. The machine grease fills the die so when the coin is struck there is no design stamped where the grease sits. It is pretty common to be missing a letter or number or part of a word. It is less common to be missing large areas of the coin. It is mostly just a novelty that has no real collector premium. If you like it, keep it. It is not worth slabbing and has no significant value.
Not every newbie is a troll. I'd wait for either an argument or a second post before I'd jump to conclusions. It's not fair to be rude out of the gate to a newbie.
I'd also point out, that it would be hard to directly search "missing t in united" and find anything.
@Crmsr74...Welcome aboard.... As noted above, you likely have a coin with a grease filled die causing the letter to be missing. No added value. Pictures would help when you are asking a specific question. Cheers, RickO
