Using a classic Abe penny as an indicator, which coin says more about you as a collector?

Setting valuation aside, are you a traditionalist that cherishes the definitive 1909 coin for the series and thus what does this say about your collecting instincts?
Or, do you see yourself appreciating a profound error coin that may indicate that you're a "wild and crazy guy" and seek to have some spice in your collection?
Or, do Abe coins bore you silly and think that your collection would be diminished by such tiny coins and thus you're focused like a laser in your collecting habits?
Explain your answer please!

I could not vote as I have the 1909-S VDB in my collection already and plan on picking up the 1955 DDO when I find one that I like. So for me the answer is I want both equally, so that must make me a "traditional, wild and crazy guy".

I'm a traditionalist who has dreamed about that classic Rarity ever since childhood.
Errors and die varieties are cool but I have never been that fascinated by them.

I’d love to own the 55 since it is so dramatic, despite that the Lincoln series doesn’t hold much interest to me. I also feel the 55 fits with my desire to collect type and/or distinctive coins. I could also see myself having only error coinage.

I like using a Lincoln (not the 09 s vdb) to make sure the tread depth on my tires will pass inspection.

That was why... I haven't cast my vote. Have to wait for more members so I can blend in without anyone notice.
I am more of a traditionalist... though I have yet to build a full set of Lincolns. I do have the albums with some holes filled... and a vast quantity of unsearched Wheaties.... and one day I will search and fill some more holes. Though not a focus, certainly copper cents were an early (in my life) interest. And since I still pull all Wheaties from change, one could say I still have an interest.

the 55 double die certainly works for me.
I'm Crazy.
I have never owned a 1955 Double Die as I believe they are way too common.
It's OK, I have a thick skin and don't take myself too seriously.
I want to own creating a light weight thread that some think is stupid. After all, it can compete with a few more ridiculous threads we experience regularly here and, hey, I don't want to be left out!

I have both the 1909-S-VDB and the 1955 doubled die, although neither of them are going to come close to any finest known honors. I like both coins, but I would never do handsprings over them, and would not pay big prices for any ultra high grade pieces.
I certainly don't hate Abe. I have a minor specialty in collecting his 1860 and 1864 campaign tokens, so that answer is out.
In the end, I guess I don't really appreciate the point of the survey question, which why I came back with impolite response.
I have always wanted a 1955 DDO for my Variety Type Set.
I am a traditionalist, BUT I appreciate uniqueness as evidenced by my favorite coin, the Capped Bust Half, a Traditional series chock full of Clashes and Cracks!
The 1909-S V.D.B. was the "fabled" coin of my youth. So was the 1914-D Cent. Those 2 coins led me into coin collecting and I've been here, on and off, ever since.
The 1937-D Three Legger is a runner up.

1955 DD. I prefer varieties, as you can probably tell from my avatar.
The only 1909-S VDB I own is the missing "S" variety.
