Very colorful 1965 Washington Quarter, SMS or Business Strike?

So I picked up this 1965 Washington Quarter with beautiful color. It appears to be a high end gem. But I have a heck of a time telling SMS from BS. What makes me lean towards BS is the die state and large die crack on the eagle's wing tip on the reverse. If I could get the opinions on the Washington Quarter experts, I'd greatly appreciate it. If it turns out to be a BS, would it be worth submitting? It think it would have to go 67 to really be worth it.

Beautiful coin.
1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
Stunning. I really like it.
Looks like a business strike to me and a beauty! With that kind of color, I think you’ll get good value out of any reasonable straight grade (e.g 65 or better)
The die erosion makes me say business strike. Nice clad!

Thanks guys. I don't typically buy clad, but this one just really stood out in the case. I couldn't resist at the paltry price that was asked. I just couldn't believe the luster that was popping on this, coupled with the color... = Instant buy.
Looks like a business strike to me.
Pure BS!
Yep, business strike.
Awesome!! You guys are confirming my hunch.
One of the most attractive clads I've seen. Nice addition.
Considering the die cracks, I would vote for business strike

Business strike, but nice detail .... might be worth submitting....If it straight grades at 65/66, the tarnish premium will give you ROI. Cheers, RickO
I know how much you dislike the tarnish and I appreciate your comment.
This one certainly won't get the "Ricko BW Bean"... LOL
Business Strike to my eye

Neither. It's a "circulation strike."
(ALL coins are struck as part of the US Mint's business. This one appears to have been made for circulation; not part of a Special Mint Set.)
I have a very good feeling that it would go 67. The luster in hand is intense and the surfaces are so clean, it's one of the reasons my first reaction was it had to be an SMS. The die cracks swayed me away from the SMS strike and made me lean towards the circulation strike.
Yes, as usual, you are absolutely correct.
Is it presently in a holder?
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
No, presently it is a raw coin.
You're right, the coloring is very similar. I wonder if it's because of the metal composition?
Very nice
Ive had ones like these get the ol BB, presumably due to the toning.
I’d have a hard time leaving that one behind. Love the look.

Yeah, especially right now with how tough both services are on color. But I'll keep my fingers crossed.
I just don't think anyone could leave it behind for the $5.00 I paid.
Nice one, I'm in the BS camp as well, just has that look

What does MA mean? Just curious.
Nice coin. I'd send it in.
Thank you for the clarification.
