Which Springfield? There are so many of them in the United States.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

CINA - Springfield, Ilinois. Decent one day show, held three times a year. Next shows July 22 and November 11. Good roster of Central and Southern Illinois dealers, bolstered by a contingent of St. Louis area dealers (show is located about 110 miles north of Gateway Arch).

Easy access via Interstate 55, located in small newish hotel/convention/reception facility less than five minutes off the Interstate. The last mile off the Interstate is the trickiest to navigate if you have never done it before.

You know the one - it is near Burlington.

    That's the one.

I didn't find any varieties, but did find 2 Washies inPCGS66 that I needed and liked. I will post a thread on them tomorrow. :)

Plus I got to meet Chris (ChrisH821) and spend some time talking coins with him. It's always nice meeting forum members in person. :)
