As a sample guy I know these are on the rare side, but is it $100k rare?, I dont think so. But hey you can ask whatever you want. I thought I would share the listing for you sample guys.
I had a line on one of these not too long ago and if I recall correctly it was no where near this stratosphere in pricing.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to have this slab, just move the decimal point over a couple spaces.

Move the decimal point over a couple of spaces? You would pay $975 for that sample slab? How about moving the decimal point over about 4 spaces? When did that sample slab become more than a $15-$25 item?

An unhealthy amount of exclamation marks in the description.
I passed on one of these at $10 last week at a sbow.
Holy smokes !!!
I offered $10 - REJECTED

maybe their estate will be able to use it to help buy the casket
i offered $7.50 and they passed. ok fine, be that way.
Offer to sell him yours at 50% of his listing price. He should jump at that, assuming he really thinks it is worth what he says he is.
His auction description is a rambling mess. He takes his potential customers for fools. He figures the more BS he throws around the more legitimate it makes his auction. He somehow managed inject MS70 and "priceless" into his description - my head was spinning by the end of it.
They didn't accept $975 either.
But it comes w/ free UPS next day air!

For that price it should have a really nice chain cent in it!
You DO know that an offer is a legit commitment, doncha?
When I make an offer, it's often replied to with a billing.
I know, haha, I'm an idiot.
After reading his description, I wanted to slap my monitor for displaying such non-sense... I'll sell him the other 2 that might be left in the world for $500.00 each, that way he can corner the market and retire.
Actually the seller is an idiot if he turned down an offer of $975. He must have convinced even himself that this is some great rarity.
I would rather have this for 100 k, at least it's worth over 100... not by much though
