Should cleaning hairlines go over devices?

Hopefully these iPhone images will capture what I am seeing in the loupe. Notice the hairlines from left/center fields, pretty much all the way across. Under the loupe it is clear the marks don’t go over the ‘5’. Anything besides a cleaning cause this? Would like to have graded but don’t want to throw money away either .

Cleaning can/will have hairlines go across devices as will damage from sliding the coin across a hard or abrasive surface.

Die polish lines would not go over devices, but they would be raised on the coin surface. Are those actually incuse on the surface?
The spots are what would bother me.
Forever.
All hairlines are not from cleaning.... they can be from contact with a gritty surface (even the mylar inserts on older coin albums), contact with other coins and other issues.... If the lines are not incuse, they can be die polish lines. Cheers, RickO
Happy to report PCGS graded it 64

Don't tease us, show us the obverse.
They're die polish lines. Some shield nickels have them. Some don't. Just like any other series. Looks like a nice coin.
Here are some examples of a few of my nickels with die polish lines.
1872 PCGS MS66
1883 NGC MS66
1867 No Rays Raw
Congrats on the MS 64 from PCGS. Clearly they believe that the lines are die polish. It's important to look at many coins with either so you can tell for yourself and not worry.
