    What are the diagnostics of MD? Can you tell us, and why you think this does not qualify as MD?

    This looks like machine doubling to me.... I see no separation..... Cheers, RickO

    Thanks rick. I figured as much! Had to be sure. MD- shelf like doubling, short close spread. Basically the short answer for me, although I should have known. The lines underneath the flames is what threw me off! Thank you

    But like Rick said. No separation or split serifs. I had a conscious thought about it for sure being MD. BUT I have not seen this coin particularly like that. The torch made me lapse my judgment but that why I leave it to most of you!! I am novice so I am learning every day

    The letters are what caught my eye the most.... some pretty crazy MD.
