Black or White-------which do you prefer?
I am now a fan of the black background after listening to the 'experts' here.

I actually like the white
Black
I have always preferred white, but I know that is terribly passé. White goes better with gold in my opinion. It also goes better with high grade silver.
Black but fond of clear if available as in the snap together holders for copper
I have never seen a snap together holder that didn't rattle. "Rattle" is a big no-no with me. I'd rather use a coin envelope.
I have also never seen an off the shelf Capital Plastics multicoin holder that didn't rattle unless it was from the eight piece gold type set or silver dollars. it's really hard to get a good fit for small coins. I used to have single coin holders custom made and then used the fitting tool to the the perfect fit.
Black.

mostly black. Bute there are situations when white is better. that is when I try both and even grey to see which will succeed.
The black
I'm leaning toward black.

For that type of layout, black is far better. For some coins white looks better. Also, if you must include a CAC image, move it away so it doesn’t distract from the view of the coins - just my preference.
I like the contrast afforded by the black background.

The color black definitely accentuates those foil CAC stickers.![o:) o:)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/innocent.png)
I lean to black since I prefer bright coins.... However, it really is not important as long as the picture is clear and detailed. Cheers, RickO
I prefer the black.
The white just looks too "busy" and I have trouble focusing.

Black minus the CAC stickers. It looks weird with the CAC in the background.

I like the black better too and agree that the CAC stickers were pretty distracting in the image.

Black looks better to me.
Just so that everyone knows, [if the quality is not that great] these were done using only Microsoft Word![ ](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

Not a fan of black background web pages.
I just pass over them.
Coin images are a different story
Black works and my eyes are o.k.with them
So black for me.
