My first toned little Mercury does not show on PCGS site when I entered the numbers. Is it because of an old label?

Try using 84066618 instead. You've entered the first two digits backwards.

Bingo! Thank you for your good eyes
The label is not an "old" label, but is currently being used by PCGS as a specialty "retro" label. Also, the old doily labels can be searched in the PCGS database.
See http://www.doubledimes.com for a free online reference for US twenty-cent pieces
And hoping no premium was paid or implied. Im not a fan of the retro holders

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Yep, that's a new Doily.

Mercury dimes are attractive and a great series to collect..... are you building a set? Or just a few... Cheers, RickO
so many ideas and type to build and so little time.....![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I think I will do the Half Dollar Commemorative first...
A wonderful series. Splendid designs. Go for it.
A shame they've stagnated for decades. Build the set for love and ignore their horrible performance.
Lance.
All of the PGCS serial numbers are on their roster of graded coins, regardless of how old the slab is.
If you don't know this already, here is a net little piece of history for you. If you look at the head of Ms. Liberty on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar you will see that she is same as the Ms. Liberty on the Mercury Dime excpet for the fact that she has no wings.

Almost - there are several white rattlers that aren't (see the white rattler thread).
