My first toned little Mercury does not show on PCGS site when I entered the numbers. Is it because of an old label?

Try using 84066618 instead. You've entered the first two digits backwards.

The label is not an "old" label, but is currently being used by PCGS as a specialty "retro" label. Also, the old doily labels can be searched in the PCGS database.

A wonderful series. Splendid designs. Go for it.

A shame they've stagnated for decades. Build the set for love and ignore their horrible performance.

All of the PGCS serial numbers are on their roster of graded coins, regardless of how old the slab is.

If you don't know this already, here is a net little piece of history for you. If you look at the head of Ms. Liberty on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar you will see that she is same as the Ms. Liberty on the Mercury Dime excpet for the fact that she has no wings.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Almost - there are several white rattlers that aren't (see the white rattler thread).
