Many people over at the World & Ancient forum are going, but I wonder if anyone here is going to participate. I'm going to be there, it will be my first coin show ever.

I'm going to see Legend showing auction lots some where there.
@desslok ...Please be sure to post a show report. It will be interesting to read your impressions and experiences as a 'first time show' attendee..... Thanks in advance... Cheers, RickO
I can't possibly compete with Charmy Harker's reports, but I'll do my best
I've gone the past 2 years and debating going again this year. I am strictly lightside and 90+% of the stuff I've seen there historically is darkside. Of the US stuff, it's mostly gold and silver and wayyy overpriced. I'm sure they pay a lot for the venue and tables. For any dealers reading this, please bring some copper. Thanks.

Have you considered coming early and going to the FUN show? There are dealers of world coins that don't do the NYC show. Disclaimer...I have absolutely nothing that would interest you!
Just take pictures of all the food you eat for a week and post it.

I did consider that, and I had a hard time deciding which show to pick. I'm not sure I chose the right one but I can't do both due to time constraints, and I can't change it now. Maybe next year.
I was not able to attend. Did any lightsiders go?

I went on Saturday. I liked the new location this year as it was easier to view the tables. I picked up 3 tokens and medals from Karl Stephens,Inc table. Very nice guy to deal with! One was a beautiful brown unc + pl 1794 1/2P Conder Norwich Plough and Shuttle Token DH19. Then I looked through his token/ medal box and picked up a Pl Unc white metal 1939 Stacks Worlds Fair medal and a ch. Unc white metal 1932 Lucky Ship/ Prosperity Token. On the way out I spotted a neat c.1900 bronze British shooting medal in its original velvet lined box,” Astor County Cup”.
Funny!
We sent David Talk from our U.S. office and Dominique Lucbernet, head of our Paris office, also went, and they accepted take-home submissions. We plan to be there next year as well.
I did not go this year as it is real hard back to back with FUN but sure hope to get to it again.
I wish you'd been there, I bought a coin...
