shady seller. Almost all his pics are of side shots or what not and he won't even give you a nice clear shot. Look at his babe ruth card he sold too.

Seller notes in the description comments, coin has been cleaned/has deep scratches. Would this have anything to do with any "work" performed on the piece?

WOW! I'd guess a good counterfeit 3-legger would be worth a couple hundred dollars, but that one is BAD.
edit--I personnaly wouldn't buy/want a counterfeit.

There's certainly no shortage of this garbage. A genuine is so easy to distinguish if you know what to look for so, as Pete says above-LEARN what to look for BEFORE you buy!
