Official Trump Coin

Here's Trump's official challenge coin with some comparisons with other coins. Obama's coin has been offered for as much as $999.00.

Of note, the eagle is facing right, traditionally where the arrows are when clutched in the talons. I've heard that the carpet in the Oval Office is changed to an eagle facing right during times of war.

In the second photo, the coins are VP (no enamel on shield) Pence, VP Biden, President Obama, President Trump.

People who read BuzzFeed, Politico, The Washington Post and The New York Times all tend to be more liberal. Per the Washington Post own study. I will say it is odd they include the “ holding base” on the mock up of the new coin and keep it attached like it’s part of the coin but only mention it at the bottom of the article past any part most would read.

True...not technically a coin. However, (and as PerryHall indicated), there is a very long tradition of challenge coins, mainly in the military, but also in law enforcement (i.e. FBI, CIA) and other organizations. I have an extensive collection of challenge coins acquired over the years. I have them in a four sided display cabinet. The coins I have are mostly military, but some from law agencies (one from a forum member here) and political positions (i.e. VP, Sec. Defense). They are interesting since they represent history, military engagements, are usually quite attractive and of personal significance to many people. Cheers, RickO

That would only be a soft sign of conspiratorial "fake news". :'(
I think MAGA locks in on the message.
But "very gold" summed it up for me.
    Nice campaign button........ >:)

How is an admiral or sailor to get a clean flip with that thing?

The reverse emblem is no longer that of the United States. Is that an intended symbol or just ignorance?

    Nice campaign button.......

Definitely looks more like a button/badge than any challenge coin.

There's a whole bunch of non official DJT challenge coin designs which look more like the traditional previously issued ones on eBay for $18-50.

Yep. I bought one that said it had all the accomplishments of the "First 100 Days" on the back. Turned out to be blank.... ;)

Whether you're liberal or conservative, I think most of us can agree there are better things our government can do than to spend resources on "presidential" coins.

Unless, of course, this is a private endeavor.

Figured. Mar-a-Lago would be depicted on the obverse instead of that stupid Eagle

The right-facing eagle is a signal of dangerous trials for the Republic akin to war.
If you super-imposed the right- and left-facing eagles, it would be the two-faced Russian eagle! :*
KOS/InfoWars/@FatYungUn, I will pass this along once I figure out a way to monetize the clicks >:)
