If I were Mr. Hall, I should get involved in one of my many hobbies and just cash weekly checks from PCGS.
Sounds like a great gig to me.
Actually, collecting the checks is great but the "gig" is probably not what we should expect. I cannot even begin to imagine all the headaches running a PCGS would be even surrounded by an excellent support team. Think about all the employees and their problems/families he may think about. Plus, coming up w/new ideas to keep the business growing or at least staying profitable. That's why I'd retire. More fun.
You forget David had a bad health scare recently. I'm sure he is semi retired because of it
I completely forgot.
Is he doing OK? He certainly is one of those folks who has changed numismatics forever. There is a big difference between dropping out of sight because you wish to pursue other things.
Yea, Merry Christmas David

Weekly checks? Sounds good, plus he gets free grading doesn't he?
I hope he is on the mend!
The court jester does not play, but gently pulls the strings…
Looked fine at the airport a few months back.
Maybe he's on a "Holiday in Cambodia," to quote the song title.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I wish Him, and You, and All, a very Merry Christmas! And a Happy New Year!
That is excellent news!
Glad to hear Mr. Hall is well... Certainly one of the significant contributors to our world of numismatics. Cheers, RickO

David Hall Rare Coins was set up next to us at the ANA show in Denver. He was there for a bit.
