Oh man! Is my show on tonight? What I find humorous is that every time they find a piece of wood they have found a tunnel. Forget the fact that one guy from the 60s who dug a big ass 100 foot hole and filled it back in with wood and debris.
The brother who looks like Dustin Hoffman is loaded. He is into natural gas exploration. I believe I read somewhere a while back he is worth in excess of $100 million. Wouldn't surprise me if the entire venture is a tax deduction for his corporation.

The TV station pays for everything at this point. That's why they are so liberal in testing everything, drilling everywhere and going on a yearly trip to Europe. At the beginning the brother questioned everything. Not anymore.
I would imagine that the Laginas got a better deal as the show caught on and became the History Channel's #1 hit. Amount of commercials has increased and I'll bet the price of them has, too.
The story is a long and complicated one. Why should anybody want to rush it? Especially those profiting.
Best guess so far is that Phips hid treasure here in the 1680s and maybe he recovered it, maybe he didn't or maybe he only recovered some. But the British believed that there was a good enough chance that it was still there that they searched for it during the 1700s. Did they find anything? Probably. Sam Ball didn't get rich growing cabbage. That's a piece of the story, more to come.
The question is if anyone used the site earlier to hide things of value. And when, exactly, was that large stone road built? I'd like to see that Carbon 14 testing repeated several times. And repeat the testing that dates the well back 1000 years. Viking explorers? Maybe, but they probably weren't there to deposit a treasure. This still would be a significant archeological find.
I don't know. I find it interesting and a great story. Just watch the clips if you don't have the patience for the show. You won't miss much.

After a long day I enjoy this utter nonsense and gobbledygook language they make up. A rusty old hinge ultimately becomes definitely, for sure, without a doubt, from a treasure chest- definitely.
After a long day try this one. It will definitely lower your heart rate while still looking for gold which is just enough to keep you awake.
The Legend of Bear Gulch.
No, I have not seen Bear Gulch but I did catch part of an episode of Blind Frog Ranch. I like fiction as well as non fiction but I didn't like this show.
Are you aware that the Nova Scotia Legislature passed the Oak Island Treasure Act in 2010 and then amended it in 2014 to tighten up on anything significant that might be found there? The Government of Nova Scotia apparently thinks that this could be more than just fiction. https://nslegislature.ca/legc/bills/62nd_2nd/1st_read/b040.htm
But, again, if I had to bet, I'd say that the treasure that once was there has probably been recovered. Occasionally, treasure hunts end with the discovery of treasure.

I enjoy watching the show. My wife gives me crap about it.![:D :D](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Not sure why I like it. Fun to think about all the crazy theories I guess!
I get a kick out of the whole "curse" thing. 7 must die! So they know how to find the treasure they just haven't had any volunteers yet. 😆

I agree with you on the Blind Frog ranch show. Not a fan.
Just watch though, they will be the ones who find something j/k.
