Astros Choke Commemorative metals for sale.

I am a native Houstion and am selling Lastros Choke Metals. Make a good bit of profit selling Oilers choke metals as that blowing a 31 point lead to Buffalo in the middle of the third quarter the choke of football as it is known and officially rated the number one choke of all time in the NFL. That was the game to determine who went to the super bowl. Sold out of these choke metals for the Astros but am having a guy with a rope around his neck made and choking in typical Houston fashion.

Dean martin had it down when he sang his famous song named Houston. Talk about fore sight. Dean words are spot on and priceless. I hope the Houston fans her it over the radio after game four as this will be the second world series in 55 years and the Astros will Never win a world series game or the Texans a super bowl or for that matter ever get there. Having the first 12 quarterbacks being complete mullets tells you something about the coaching. Payton Manning wanted to come play for the Texans when he was still sharp but nearing the end of his great career. The rest of the team was super bowl ready. The mullets passed on Payton and I hope he does a commercial where he is a Houston coach and trying to talk some sense into the owners with no luck as they choke on Doritos.

I was born here and by mid next year I will be living in a very nice place with no regrets about leaving the Lastros, traffic, and the decades of humiliation the footlessball teams bring to the city.

We will hear about all the stats but they mean noting if you cannot show up when it counts and Houston spots teams will be talking about the regular season until the next choke. NFL, I won't go or watch as I love our country and flag as well as those who have served and will not have any part of the disrespect those kids example by sitting down. In five years a vast majority will be out of football, broke and jobless as most employees do back ground checks. I wish the NFL would do the same.

As far as Houston goes there is no gravity here as the city and their baseball and football teams suck.

    Hmm.

Nothing more painful than to watch your team ALMOST make it, and then fold.

In the meanwhile: where do you get Astros choke medals?

@oldgoldlover that is some of the funniest stuff I read on here in a long time. I was laughing so hard I had to reread a couple of passages twice. I've been a Chicago fan for decades and the Cubs won it all last yr, but they did get shut out 5x's in the post season last yr, after getting swept in the NLCS by the lowly Mets. They barely won a game this yr against the Dodgers. The Bears are not much better having a 3-13 record last yr, so I do feel ur pain.

    Thanks for the laughs...

    Later, Paul.

I never follow ball sports.... just -IMO- ridiculous ..... However, I lived in Houston for three years and really liked that city and the people. Great times there.... Cheers, RickO

What sports are there to follow without a ball? Is Ricko a big WWE fan? ;)

@MorganMan94 ....I followed boxing most of my life, having done a bit in the Navy....have not been much of a fan of WWE.... just not much time to watch TV.....Still watch boxing when a good match comes along....never could understand chasing a ball (of any shape) around.....just leave the ball alone and there will be no issue. I wish they would bring back the lions and the coliseums...Now there was some sport... :D Cheers, RickO

A true fan doesn't bail out on his team after one loss in a seven game series. Lots of baseball yet to be played and this Houston team is a resilient bunch. Didn't you learn anything after falling behind 3-2 to the Yankees in the LCS?

The worst part in wasn't HOFers Jim Kelly or Thurman Thomas that led that Bills comeback. They were hurt earlier in the game. It was legendary QB Frank Reich who did

As a Red Sox fan you kind of get used to it. Poor old Bill Buckner! We had to put up with the tapes of the ball going between his legs for years! I wish they would burn those tapes.

Try some pepper gravy on that Crow when you eat it! One of the best World Series ever....I am glad the Astros won and happy for the whole team. Still would not move to Houston though, I have to go there to visit my in-laws a couple times a year and that is about enough. Hot, humid, bad traffic and massive urban sprawl with no zoning / planning. Just not my kind of town.

A good friend of mines advice on eating crow.

Eat the crow while it’s still warm. It’s very hard to chew when it gets cold.
