Do I need a ....PROOF... Morgan?

I mean, I'm kinda out of US but don't have a PROOF Morgan.
Is this okay for a collector to be missing?

If you don't own one and can afford it then YES, yes you do!

Collector, occasional seller
Also, if you can REALLY afford it go for a branch mint proof
you don't NEED any coin.
Do you WANT a proof Morgan dollar?
I have one, an 1884, but haven't looked at it in a few years.

I'm the proud owner of a branch mint (San Francisco) proof Morgan reverse.
The obverse, dated 2006, just shows an old building.

Love Morgan proofs.
I was far more motivated until I got this thing.

What's that supposed to mean?
WOW!!!!
Love the 1887. That's screaming for a gold sticker.
Depends on what you collect. I'm a Barber Half Nut and many people ask me why I don't have any Proofs! While I like them I just have never had the bug to go after them!
Find an 1894. More bang for the buck.
With dmpls and rainbow toners available at a fraction of the cost, it would have to be a special coin to put out all that money.
If I had one, it would have to have a one, an eight, a nine and a five on the front......
Proof Morgans are beautiful coins.... I should add one to my Morgan ranks....since they are mostly CC and O, then it should be one of those right?
Cheers, RickO
O mint proof! I like it.
But not unless it was matte also.
Yes you do, in fact why not two

Proof Morgan Dollars especially with contrast are beautiful coins, I have one and am happy with it, but one is enough for me
Proof Morgan Dollars are attractive when they have original surfaces and some cameo contrast. I would tend to look for one in the 1880s. The pieces from the early 1900s tend to lack contrast from what I have seen. One good thing for your search is that prices have come down from what they were some years ago.
I will someday own one.
