Thanks, you saved me a trip. I was going to go tomorrow. The place will be empty.

    That's a shame.....
I guess other things are important too, but.....If I had traveled to set up, I'd be a little upset....

I was there on a Friday and knew this was going to happen. The event staff was setting up the lines for the free food stamps, and it took up the entire room next to the show.

Earlier the government had another of these events in a stadium that was located next to
Interstate Highway 4, and it tied up traffic for miles.

If you want to foul things up just let the government get involved!
I drove from Pittsburgh to set up and now have a long drive home from a less than stellar show.
No fault of the show promoter just fate.
It was over heard someone said " I have been thru the line twice and have one more ID to use!"
Some people have nerve, worthless people!

And yet my wife and I are due to renew our Florida driver's licenses, and you have to ID yourself in multiple ways. We are taking the old license, a birth certificate, utility bills and a passport, all of which seem to be required.

It's the usual government way. Make life hard for honest citizens who pull the wagon buy paying taxes and take it easy on the crooks who are out to job the system.

I really feel badly for the dealers and Ed Kuzmar who runs the Lakeland show. They got blindsided by this mess which killed the show for two out of three days. Ed should get a refund for those two days, part of which he could share with the dealers.

Flew from NY to walk show. Arrived Palm Beach and heard about the issue with FEMA. Saved me three hour drive at least but Ed does try really hard and was hoping to show some support after the hurricane. Oh well

Glad I didn't make the drive over.

Using the facilities for FEMA relief efforts instead of a coin show. What nerve.

The pardon is for tyrants. They like to declare pardons on holidays, such as the birthday of the dictator, or Christ, or the Revolution. Dictators should be encouraged to keep it up. And we should be encouraged to remember that the promiscuous dispensation of clemency is not a sign of political liberality. It is instead one of those valuable, identifying marks of tyranny.

I guess it is just fine to step on small business.
One works for a living and the other does not.
I guess you can't help one without stepping on the other.
