Oh, there's a few, but this is one of them. I found it at a show in a nasty scuffed-up holder. It looked like it had potential to be a nice DOG. I got it for a great deal, cleaned up the slab, sent it in and got the sticker. I wonder where she was during the Civil War:

Not the highest graded SLQ I have (MS-63)....not the best struck SLQ....but I love the warm golden toning. I know "colorful" is all the rage, but THIS is the toning I enjoy!

Whenever I see this coin it makes me smile. IMO it's hard to beat this combination of Eye Appealing, light cameo contrasted Prooflike, Carson City Gold.

I purchased this Prooflike 1890-CC $20 Liberty Gold Double Eagle without hesitation, and was able to make a very advantageous trade for junk silver at a time when these were valued considerably lower than they are now.
