I found an 1876-CC trade dollar for my 1876 mint set. Venture a guess at the grade and share your thoughts.

OK....it's a 61.4
Looks really nice with excellent strike. I cant narrow it down any better than somewhere between 58 and 63.

I hate to be the low one, but my gut is just telling me AU-53. The haloing of the luster in the fields I think is what is bothering me. The coin was certainly well struck and the high points have just the slightest bit of wear. If the fields have better luster than I see in the images, then I would be willing to go to AU-58 on it.
Depends on the luster. Pics do not do justice in representing luster, it could be 58 or 62
If the luster I think is there from the picture I vote 58...if not a nice 55.

Looks Very close to MS to me, and agree it has a great strike. Can't tell about remaining luster from pic though.

BTW, I love the look of'er.
Plenty of luster, noticeable light wear in the fields and devices, no major issues...
