I've gotta say it looks real and it's pretty cool. Also a Norse Metal I received today
I was looking through the mint offerings and ran across this amazing coin. Struck in .999 silver this Cook Islands piece got my attention . I've gotta say I've never seen anything like it. That's not saying there isn't anything like it, I just haven't seen it. So I thought I'd share this one.
This image was taken with my new camera and new setup, tethered to my monitor. A BIG difference. I can see it before I drop the shutter.
I also received this in the mail. Keep it US coin related. I have a love for these Norse metals. I have the thin one so I finished up with this thick one.
Thanks for looking and happy hunting, Joe
Here's my thin one....
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Looks different. Should probably be on the World Coins Forum?
Ya got me
I have a personal weakness for the Norse medals. Bought half a dozen in the last 6 months.
Nice pics!

I may well do so. I'll have to get them out of the safe.
Did you see the bronze ones that sold earlier this year? I wanted them but not at that price.

I think I'll throw mine in the garbage now.
Those are amazing just to say the least!!
No I missed those but I gotta say the ones your showing are pretty damn nice and blows mine outta the water.
Thank you for sharing there my coin brother
I'm not a colorized coin fan but I must admit that one's pretty amazing. I like the non-colored side very much as well.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
well those aren't my little ones. Ming look muck like yours. Those were the ones I DIDN'T buy. Maybe someday...
That Cook Islands coin is unique... will they be doing a series of flower coins?? Would make an attractive display.... Cheers, RickO
That Cook Islands coin is outstanding, Joe! I also like colorized stuff if it's done right. Here's my Cook Islands "moon coin." Not colorized but it does have a tiny piece of the moon on one side.
