New purchase I find attractive. Grade added. No CAC

I am very pleased with my new Stone Mountain Commem! I like the light blue toning and the luster is superb. Venture a guess at the grade if you like.

Nice coin!
My grade is MS-64 based upon the minor marks to the left of Stonewall Jackson and in the field on the reverse.
I like it and would guess 64.
Looks nice. 65?
From my neck of the woods. I like it a lot and think it is a 65. Let's hope the mint doesn't recall them all so they can deface them.
it's crackers to slip a rozzer the dropsy in snide
Nice! MS64
My YouTube Channel
Nice color and luster, marks in the obv and rev fields probably limit the grade to 63+ or 64

I will go 65 on this one. Looks like nice luster.
MS64. Nice original coin.
Very nice toning.
nice example depicting US history!
This coin always reminds me of the movie "Brokeback mountain"

The coin grades PCGS MS67. It is on its way to CAC now. I will let you know if it stickers. Thanks for the replies!
Nice!
And @BillJones called it nice. He's not always an easy man to impress.
67! wow. looks like booming luster. hope it stickers.
Always liked this design, MS64.

Very nice coin.... I am surprised at the 67...... Would have thought 65.... Could well be the picture not showing the full details. Let us know if it stickers... Cheers, RickO
So much for grading from pictures. Very nice coin......
My GTG usually seem to get low guesses. It may be the way I photo coins. In hand the coin looks deserving of the grade. Hopefully it is not the way I buy coins!
You should consider deleting this post before the coin is recalled by your state government or the federal government.
( First of all I am only joking on this post ) but;
"Or worse yet they use this post to track the owner down, use a No Knock warrant pick your lock, sneak in at 3:00 am and then break into your safe and seize your coin (property). Then wake you up and show you the warrant as they leave with your ra@iest coin." ( just kidding )
In full disclosure I cant tell you if I do or do not own one of these coins.
You guys calling this a 64 are really being tough. You are going to ruin my hard earned reputation of being crazy conservative to the point of being lectured!
A majority of these coins that I see are not original. A majority of these coins that are graded "Unc-something" have a change of color (dull gray) down the leg from friction wear (not stacking) and are "technically AU!
IMHO, this coin is fully original with blazing luster and great eye appeal. I really hate to write this (
) as some really experienced folks have graded it differently BUT IMHO, ANY PROFESSIONAL TPGS GRADER or even a YN in a basic ANA grading class would start their evaluation at MS-65! Even as a YN, I should have been in the "Gem" MS-65 to 66 range. The minor impact marks* keep me from grading this one MS-67 but in hand, I may change my mind.
In short, this coin is closer to an MS-67 than an MS-64! I'll look forward to reading any comments that defend the lowball opinions?
So: PCGS: MS-67
Me: MS-66 Max.
Ricko, Jedm, Seattleslammer: MS-65
Others: MS-64
MS-63's need a basic grading class ASAP
EDIT: Op, why you are spending money trying for a "bean" is beyond me. Does the value go up a whole lot? Good Luck, but some very experienced members don't think it even makes MS-65!
I was sending some other coins so I included this one. Does not cost anything unless it stickers. If it does it is well worth the $13.50 IMO.
I do not think they would call it a 65 if they saw it in hand. The marks seem consistent with some of the coins I viewed at coinfacts. It is a luster bomb and I am hoping that will be enough to sticker. I should know early next week.
I think I do a nice job taking photos of coins but for some reason my GTG sometimes get lower guesses than the actual grade. It is like I put a spotlight on minor details (flaws). I do not try to hide anything. I just set up the shot and click the button.
That's all I do also. Next time put lights on both sides of the coin and it will have so much glare that none of the marks will show and the guys will call it a 67.
MS67? Wow. a lot of marks for that high grade.
I guess there were to many marks for CAC to sticker the coin. I am a sucker for eye appealing coins that technically may not be all the way there. The coin was not cheap. I still really like the coin. Thanks for all the opinions! I appreciate it.
