Beat the pesky Chief's even after giving the a TD at the half with the biggest bonehead defensive call I have EVER seen!

Dallas defense was terrific today. The pass rush is much better.

We were looking very bad back then....and I'm afraid it might go back to that "IF" Zeke is suspended. He enables us to control the ball and chew up clock and keeping our defense off the field.

Without Zeke to block in the backfield it is only a matter of time before Prescott heads to the IR.

Game like this one makes me even more impressed with the Vikings~they lose their starting QB and their #1 back and don't miss a beat.

I'm totally ashamed. It's not bad enough to lose Zeke, which means pass. Then the left side of the O-line can't stop anybody!!! Where did #69 come from anyway. He should be locked up for impersonating a football player. Then we lose Lee on defense.

I think it is safe to say this season is OVER! Start rebuilding for next year. Dump 64 and 69.....they can't even HOLD!

    Good grief!!!!!

A game like this also underscores how integral a bonafide back is to a team's success~Tony Romo can vouch for that. It's a testament to his ability that Dallas was able to do as well as they did as he had nothing at RB with the exception of the one season he had DeMarco Murray. Prescott looks lost in this one.

You can blame Prescott's problems squarely on 64 and 69. Two of the biggest bums I have ever seen.

I would take Prescott out for the year and save him for next season before he is hurt bad! This season is lost!

We knew the season was over weeks ago, DM. You called it in early October. Philly can coast now to the NFC East crown.

Vikings are playing well. I saw Keenum in the pre-season and thought "WOW" he's better than anything we have had as a starter in a long time. Bradford will never play for the Vikings again and Bridgewater's knee is a question mark. I hope they sign Keenum, he looks like a leader out there. Throws the long pass much better than Teddy and has no injury problems.

Defense will be what takes the team anywhere. The tough part of the schedule is ahead, we'll see what they are made of starting this week.

Marion Barber was a pretty good back, not elite but still a quality starter.

Chaz Green's game was one of the worst performances by an offensive lineman since 1982. It is difficult for an offense to not miss a beat when they lose two of the top 22 players in the NFL (if you go by All Pro Awards) and on of the league's most consistent kickers.

Agreed, Barber was pretty good from 2007-2009, but still averaged fewer than 50 yards rushing per game for his career.

For the Cowboys' sake, I hope they get that OT back this week.

You do know that we lost 2 of the OL from last year to FA.....they won't be back. We don't have the best OL in the NFL anymore. And 64 couldn't stop me from getting to the QB. The left side is the worst place to put him with Prescott being right handed and looking the other way most of the time. And those running backs that took Zeke's place last week looked awful! We could have lost any one of our receivers and done fine, but without Zeke our whole game plan is out the window. When he gets back for the last 2 games we will be too far out to matter. Start building for next year. :/

I'm not talking about last year. I'm talking about OT Tyron Smith. They missed him big time last week.

You miss all these great games because you keep rooting for the wrong team. Over the past 2 decades the cowboys have basically been the cleveland browns what exact signal are you waiting for to let you know that its time to move on?

Of course , thats the point. The team has done nothing to retain your loyalty for more than a generation .

Alcoholics can put down the bottle if they try hard , addicts can put down the needle . Sports fans have a right to expect a team to perform . If you just keep giving Jerry Jones your dollars for sucking why should he even care if they win?

I think its coaching . When they lose an important part of the O-line and rushers were getting to Zeke last week it unsettled him. So make an adjustment. Protect him give him plays he can execute faster or something. He is a young guy , he's proven he can execute if he is comfortable so make him comfortable. It's not like injuries aren't an issue for every other team in the league . Top end players are toppling like dominoes all over the league .

Make an adjustment. Like you know, the Eagles did last night at half time :D

Well Jerry Jones is a moron , he's a terrible owner. He hired garrett because garrett is ok with Jerry sticking his nose into the running of the team. It's like Jones is the coach and GM , if he was a good businessman he would fire himself but he is probably surrounded by people who say how brilliant he is.

He is probably still upset he didn't get Johnny football I think he should fire Prescott and hire his grandson to be the next QB . B)

    Prescott looks terrible, too.

    He's looked lost.

    Yikes 37-9 now.

He was missing throws and making terrible decisions.

Based on what Bryan Broaddus (former NFL scout and Cowboys media member) saw in reviewing the game Prescott made a number of poor decisions and terrible throws that hurt the passing game. The issue seems to be more on execution than coaching (same on defense). Coaching can always improve but the players need to be better.

All teams are affected by injury but it is a lot to ask of the Cowboys to absorb the loss of 3 of the top 22 players in the NFL (if you go by All Pro teams), another 3 starters on defense (Heath, Paea, and Hitchens) and Bailey. On top of that the "Great OL" from 2016 is playing with 2/5 starters from last season.

He should never have fired Landry and then he should have not forced Johnson to leave.

Did you want Landy to step down after the 1988 season instead? Because it was time to move on.
