If cracked and submitted to PCGS, I think it would upgrade to a low MS grade. That said, the coin already sold for better than MS61 money based on Coin Facts auction records.

I would imagine it's worth more in an AU-58 holder.

Maybe as an AU58+ if it was in PCGS plastic because of the "Every man" registry sets or whatever PCGS calls it.

Good point. There isn't a 1917 graded 58+ at PCGS either, so if this one was able to upgrade at PCGS it would sell for a pretty penny.

Not me, but very nice coin and great old ANA holder.
Nice! What did it hammer for?

OOH I gotta start looking at SLQ's...
Insert witicism here. [ xxx ]
I had planned to stick it in my album, but oh well! I thought it might be a tad undergraded too. Tough to find them attractively toned.
Not be but I think it looks great.

Very nice SLQ...the tarnish is muted, so not so distracting from the coin itself......would likely disappear in a fast, diluted dip.... Cheers, RickO
Not a bad looking SLQ...lovely tone.

The color is nice but on a type 1 philly I'd rather wait and find one with the knee struck in better than that.
Beautiful coin, and not messed with by the Coin Doctors. Nice rivets too. I like it.
I like the old ANACS holders. If it were me, I'd leave it alone.
Dave
I like it and one of my favorite holders.
That's a very attractive coin! I sure wish ANACS would resurrect that small holder (and the conservative grading that went with it!)
