There actually is such a circle included in the designs of the 1860 "wealth of the south" presidential Civil War tokens. It's a small circle at the top of the obverse.

Yes, but you have damage at the top of the obverse around the word "Liberty" too. This coin has too many issues to spend more money on for repairs.
