some new quarters

Picked up a couple of new quarters for my toned seated collection. They all look pretty good together with similar hues. The 1885 matches the Barber I got last month like perfectly too.

I still can't figure out how to take a pic of the rainbow colors through the slab though. I think I should just sent them all off and get true views. Do true views capture the colorful toning on proofs accurately?

Anyways, here they are! what do you all think?

Love them both, especially the '79. Wow....

Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.

The detail on the obverse of the coins is excellent... Cheers, RickO

thanks for the comments. Anyone have experience with true views? will they capture the color on coins like these?

Did you send then in raw? If you bought them them slabbed then probably not worth the fees. But a few members here could definitely help you with better pictures.

No I purchased them in slabs. I'm working on a whole set of proof seated quarters with colorful toning. Right now I've got a handful in NGC slabs and a handful in PCGS slabs. I've been trying to practice my photography skills, but I cannot seem to get a good picture that captures the colorful toning through the glare of the slab.

it's tough to capture those colors for sure. There are a few members here that offer their photography skills.
