Is there a NO "F" in designers initials variety for a 1972-D Kennedy half dollar? Strange hair?

No F and strange hair. Possible counterfeit? Or error? Or variety. Weight is 11.23g.

Pretty sure in order to be a true no FG there can't be any sign of the initials, since the G is almost fully visible in your close-ups, I'd say no it's not. Just looks like an extremely worn die to me.
The 72-D is notorious for grease-filled dies. This is one. Very minor error.
Kind regards,
George

A worn die and likely some grease fill on the initial... Cheers, RickO
Wouldn't this type of error be possible on all dates of this series?
Yes, it is very common on most dates in 1970s and 1980s.
